In these unprecedented times, Axiom Stone Solicitors will, in common with other businesses, be following the Government's official advice on social distancing and social isolating.

Public health measures must have the highest priority and, as a result, some staff will be working from home. Also, our offices will be closed to visitors.

However, we wish to reassure existing and potential clients that we will continue to provide the highest levels of service.

Please be assured we have a robust business continuity plan in place that is designed to minimise the impact on our service to you.

In addition, please continue to contact us electronically or by phone in relation to the progress of your matters or on any issues of concern to you.

Until further notice, service of claim forms, application notices and all other court documents and contractual notices must be made to our head office only (we shall not accept service through any other means). Our head office address is at Axiom Stone Solicitors, Axiom House, 1 Spring Villa Road, Edgware, Middlesex, HA8 7EB. We ask that all other correspondence be sent by email to the relevant member of Axiom Stone Solicitors. In the event that service of court documents or contractual notices is attempted by post, courier, DX, or fax to any address other than that of our Head Office, we cannot provide any assurance that they will be received or processed. We are grateful for your understanding at this time.

We will update this information regularly on our website (Please see COVID-19 Updates Here) and via social media.

Finally, we urge everybody to follow the official advice on fighting the virus outbreak so enabling you to stay safe and well.

Start-up visa

This route is for graduates who have developed genuine and credible business ideas and entrepreneurial skills to establish one or more businesses in the UK.

You need to fulfil the following requirements:

  • Endorsement: You need to be endorsed in the form of a letter by either a UK Higher Educational Institution (HEI) or a business organisation with a history of supporting UK entrepreneurs.
  • Evidence of English language: You must provide evidence that you are either a national of an English speaking country or hold a recognised qualification taught in English or have passed an English language test by a recognised provider at level B1 or above.
  • Maintenance funds: You must provide evidence that you are able to maintain yourself and any dependants that will be joining you in the UK without recourse to public funds. This means that you need to have enough money to cater for yourselves in the UK.

Once your application is approved, you can stay in the UK for 2 years. You are unable to extend or settle in the UK on this visa but may be able to switch to an Innovator visa at the end of your 2 years if your business is successful. Our specialist team of immigration professionals can provide support and guidance throughout this period to maximise your chances of a favourable outcome.

Your family

Your family members (partner and children under 18) can apply to join you in the UK. They must provide evidence that they are able to maintain themselves in the UK adequately without recourse to public funds, meaning they have enough money to cater for themselves in the UK. The maintenance funds must be separate from your maintenance funds.

Making an application

One of the most common reasons for an application to be refused is a failure to convince the UKVI of genuine intention.
Furthermore, the immigration rules are complex and stringent, often requiring the applicant to produce specific documentation and evidence.  At Axiom Stone Solicitors, our expert team of immigration professionals are on hand to guide you through every step of the process and advise on the most appropriate category for your circumstances, ensuring that you have the best chance of success.

At Axiom Stone, we work closely with our clients’ needs and objectives and achieve results in an efficient and timely manner, aiming to continue the relationship once you have secured your visa and beyond.

To apply for this visa or to make an enquiry, please contact us on 0207 016 9341 to speak to our dedicated team of professionals or by e-mail immigration@axiomstone.co.uk.
