Shivani joined Axiom Stone Solicitors in October 2014 as a paralegal and became a trainee solicitor in January 2016. She commenced her first training seat within the Commercial Property Department where she was assisting in all stages of a transaction, including acquisitions, disposals and leases. She also acted for clients who trade with properties at auction and enjoyed preparing legal packs and dealing with post-auction formalities. Her second seat was within the Residential Property Department where she handled her own case load and dealt with sales and purchases of both freehold and leasehold properties together with re-mortgages. Shivani also gained valuable experience as she dealt with transactions which involved bankruptcy proceedings and liaising with official receivers. Shivani is now undertaking her final seat within the Litigation Department, where she assists in matter such as breach of commercial contracts, property disputes including commercial and residential, landlord and tenant disputes and possession proceedings.
Prior to joining the firm, Shivani completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law and gained broad experience in various areas of law including criminal law and property litigation.
Away from the office, Shivani enjoys dancing, travelling and applying henna designs.
