Commercial/Contractual Disputes Keith advises and acts for private and commercial clients – both small and large organisations – on all types of contracts and in contractual disputes. His advice is strategically sound and focused on achieving the client’s aims and limiting costs where possible. He has an excellent success rate in litigation, arbitration, mediation and dispute resolution generally. For example he represented the UK subsidiary of an international energy supply company in a dispute over alleged faulty installation work at a residential development. Also, he acted for a claimant train component manufacturer in arbitration proceedings against a supplier of alleged defective parts involving heavy reliance on scientific evidence.
Private Client Keith has a wide knowledge of private client issues, involving disputed/contested wills and trusts and was, for many years, a member of the Charity Commission panel for the appointment of Receivers and Managers. He was appointed to that position in respect of a number of Charities. Keith remains a charity trustee and trustee of various family trusts.
Keith specialises in all aspects of commercial work with a particular focus on management issues, disputes, business arrangements and company structures. His career has seen him gain wide experience in Europe, United States and the Bahamas.
In his spare time, Keith has a keen interest in British and American stamps and coins. He is also an avid gardener and studies and writes about the wild flowers of England.
