Jayesh graduated with LLB Honours from the University of Westminster and then completed the Bar Vocational Course from the Inns of Court of School of Law. He was Called to the Bar at Lincoln's Inn in 2002.
Since then, Jayesh has also qualified as a Solicitor Advocate and has had extensive experience of immigration, criminal, employment, commercial and civil litigation.
He specialises in civil and commercial dispute resolution and contentious and non contentious employment matters having advised multi national corporate organisations. He also undertakes work on behalf of Healthcare professionals/practices regarding their business affairs and disputes with other professionals or public bodies. His particular niche is representing doctors wishing to become specialists via the PMETB Article 14 route.
His hobbies include playing football and cricket. One his major accomplishments was back in 1998 when working at the Public Defender's Office, Chicago, Illinois on a matter that led to the exoneration of a death-row inmate.
Sheena works in the firms Property department.
Sheena qualified as a solicitor in 2002. Her areas of practice include representing purchasers and sellers, dealing with shared ownership schemes, and advising on re-mortgages, transfers of equity, tenancy agreements and securing charges. Sheena also deals with a wide variety of commercial property matters acting for Landlord and Tenant alike. Sheena also has experience in private client matters including advising upon and preparing wills.
Sheena is an 'enthusiastic ' football fan by default as a result of her football mad sons who support West Ham! Sheena also enjoys travelling to exotic locations. In any spare time that she can find, she likes to read and visit museums.

Rizwan joined Axiom Stone in August 2009 and is the Head of the Personal Injury Department as well as an associate of the firm.
Rizwan graduated from Middlesex University in 2003 with a Joint BA (Hons) in Law and Business. After completing the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Rizwan commenced his Training Contract in 2006 and qualified as a solicitor in October 2008.
Having trained at a prominent regional Trade Union firm, Rizwan has extensive experience in dealing with accidents at work, such as ‘slips and trips’ and accidents involving heavy machinery. Rizwan’s areas of practice also include Road Traffic Accidents, Occupier’s Liability (where you have been injured on someone else’s premises) and Public Liability (where you have been injured on premises/land owned by the Local Authority).
During his free-time Rizwan works with Newham’s Asian Community Link Worker in providing support to the Black and Asian communities of Newham. Apart from going to gym, Rizwan has a keen interest in the martial arts.

Alim joined Axiom Stone Solicitors in January 2009 as an associate solicitor after having spent 3 years at a West End firm. He now heads up the Litigation Department and is a solicitor with a wide variety of experience of commercial and civil disputes and their resolution through litigation, negotiation or alternative forms of dispute resolution. Alim also has experience of dealing with landlord and tenant matters and matrimonial cases and is regularly instructed to deal with these matters for clients. Alim 's cases have taken him before the Court of Appeal, all divisions of the High Court as well as cases within the County Courts.

- Acting on behalf an international steel company over multimillion pound contractual disputes
- Obtaining injunctive relief for a pharmacy and homecare service provider against a billion pound pharmaceutical company
- Defending proceedings brought by a management company for unpaid service charges
- Restraining the presentation of a winding-up petition against a client based on disputes over a transfer of goodwill
- Defending proceedings brought by a major bank to enforce a personal guarantee given by a director
- Dispute between Partners of a business as to the terms of the original Partnership agreement
Education:
Alim graduated from Keele University with LLB Hons. law degree and a business degree and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law London.
Interests:
Alim enjoys most sports, in particular snowboarding and football and likes to travel whenever possible.

Barbara Oska-Sharman

Barbara joined Axiom Stone in September 2009. Prior to joining the firm Barbara worked for MLS Chase LLP for 7 years, where she specialised in corporate immigration in particular all types of work permit applications and HSMP applications (latterly for entry or leave to remain under Tiers 1 and 2 of the Points Based System). Barbara has expert knowledge of visitor and settlement immigration laws, including appeals and reconsideration applications.
Barbara is also an employment law specialist, who deals with a wide variety of matters, including redundancies, dismissal and discrimination cases, on behalf of both employees and employers. Barbara's experience includes employer employee litigation, settlement negotiations, drafting employment contracts and staff handbooks, as well as advising employers on everyday HR issues, strategic re-organisation and recruitment from both within and outside the European Economic Area.
During her professional career Barbara advised a broad range of clients including both individuals and corporate. Barbara worked with a number of HR Managers and Directors of multinational organisations on UK business incorporation, employment issues and corporate immigration.
Barbara's particular strength lies in providing strategic and practical advice.
Barbara is fluent in Polish and can communicate in Russian. She is a member of Employment Lawyers Association and Polish Professionals in London.
Campbell qualified as a solicitor in 1978 and is working with Axiom Stone as a consultant solicitor.
He has worked in both very large and small firms and has had experience in several fields of legal practice.
He is currently dealing with both residential and commercial conveyancing, including sales and purchases, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, leases, assignments and sales of businesses, offices, warehouses and restaurants; he also undertakes the drafting of wills, administration of deceased estates and powers of attorney.
Campbell has also had experience in the past with divorces including financial settlements, litigation, debt collecting and other matters.
He has also worked with estate agents, dealing with all aspects of sales, lettings, management and assisting with legal correspondence.
Campbell obtained qualifications in mortgages and lifetime mortgages (equity release) and worked with mortgage and insurance brokers for a while.
As such, he has had the opportunity to appreciate the housing market from several points of view.
Campbell has been both a partner in a firm and managed his own company for several years, so is well able to understand the financial aspects of a solicitors firm, marketing and networking, the importance of good record keeping and the encouragement, motivation and training of staff.
In 2010, he was recognised by the Good Lawyer Guide for “outstanding“ legal practice with a five star certificate.
When not working as a solicitor, Campbell enjoys playing golf, going to the gym, watching sport and live music and attending Lions Club meetings and other social activities.
Sejal Karia joined Axiom Stone as a consultant solicitor in April 2009. She qualified in 1994. Prior to this Sejal had her own successful practice, Jarian Solicitors. Sejal specialises in all aspects of Residential and Commercial property matters, including complex leases, lease extensions and property development. Her clients come from a diverse range of backgrounds and are based as far as Hong Kong, The USA, UAE and Japan.
Clients repeatedly instruct her because of her ability to grasp their requirements immediately, and always keep (quote) "two steps ahead." When you add her strong commercial common sense, a thorough grounding in commercial litigation during her training contract, and her reputation for straight talk, it is easy to see how she has built a loyal client base, some of whom have been with her since she was a Trainee Solicitor. Sejal has also been approved to sit as a Magistrate and from April 2010 will be sitting on the bench at Harrow Magistrates Court. She is also a Trustee of the Immigration Advisory Service, and a School Governor.

Neenu joined Axiom Stone in June 2008 as a part-time legal assistant. She is currently undertaking her training with the firm, set to qualify in May 2012.
Holding a BA(Hons) in Marketing as a first degree, Neenu recently obtained a LLB in law after completing a Graduate Diploma in Law and The Legal Practice Course at The College of Law in Birmingham.
Neenu previously worked as a marketing manager for the technology transfer department of the University of Warwick where she gained extensive knowledge of the commercial industry and the investment market.
Neenu enjoys running and photography in her spare time.

Aman graduated from University College of London where she completed a degree in Project Management in Construction. Her degree gave Aman an introduction to law which led her to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law and The Legal Practice Course at The College of Law, London.
Since completing her studies, Aman has worked for a number Law firms, the latest being Duncan Lewis & Co where she worked as a Immigration Paralegal specialising in Asylum, Human Rights applications, Ankara Agreements and Removal Directions.
Aman joined Axiom Stone in May 2010 as a Conveyancing and Litigation Paralegal. Currently Aman is assisting in the Litigation department drafting pleadings, instructing counsel and attending court.
Aman is a keen badminton player and enjoys travelling.

Hamit was called to Istanbul Law Society in 2000 after having graduated her law degree from Ankara University. She then completed her Master in Tax Law from Marmara University where she taught tax law until 2004. She is currently writing her PhD thesis on the subject of “Transfer Pricing and Arbitration”. She has also written a few tax law articles in Turkish.
In 2004 she moved to London and completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course in London with highly regarded results. She also passed her exams as a Tax Technician and is in the progress of finishing her exams as a Chartered Tax Adviser.
She specialises primarily in international aspects of taxation, which includes advising companies on their corporate restructuring in England or in Turkey, advising non-UK resident companies on appropriate structures for holding UK property, and on the availability of sovereign immunity from tax. She has a particular interest in taxation of international transactions and aims to provide valuable services Turkish corporate clients who wish to extend their trading activities into English markets.
She is a member of Association of Tax Technicians, Chartered Institute of Taxation, Turkish British Commercial Commerce and Industry and Professional Network organisation.
She also deals with commercial disputes that involves litigation, settlement, arbitration or any other dispute resolution methods.
Her hobbies include playing tennis and swimming. She enjoys reading and attending theatres in London.
Smita joined Axiom Stone in June 2008. Prior to joining the firm Smita worked as a PA in a local estate agency. Smita has considerable experience in all aspects of residential property work and assists the conveyancing department when necessary. Smita has also acquired extensive experience in personal injury matters and manages her own files as well as dealing with all aspects of office administration and reception duties.
In her spare time Smita likes to walk, read and is kept busy by her two teenage sons.
Ashwin joined Axiom Stone in April 2008 as the Accounts Manager. Ashwin completed his training at Hindocha & Co in 1987 and remained an employee for 10 years. Ashwin has more than 20 years of experience as a legal cashier and has worked for a number of legal firms, namely D.B Thakrar Solicitors, Patel Law Solicitors, MLS Chase and Gandecha & Pau. Working for these firms has developed Ashwin’s accounting knowledge and experience.
In his spare time Ashwin is an avid gardener and enjoys long country walks.
